Are you ready to uplevel your hairdressing skills? This course has been designed specifically for professional stylists who want to learn how style and cater to afro and curly hair clients. As well as learning how to care for afro and curly hair in its natural state, attendees will learn about the best protective styling methods for specific hair types. You will learn: -The science around afro hair -How to analyse the hair during your client consultation. -How to identify curl types and patterns. -The best product types and application processes for your clients' specific needs. -How to correctly cleanse and condition afro hair -The most effective styling techniques to use to achieve your clients' desired look. -Protective styling -Blow drying and straightening options - Correct language and terminology to use - Aftercare and maintenance advice - What services to provide in your business and pricing scale **This course does not include cutting** This is a hands on and interactive course over 2 days where participants will work on training heads and models. Expect to leave feeling confident and excited to serve new clients and put your skills into action. Ongoing support available. **Attendees must have Level 2 Qualifications, be in the 2nd year of their level 2 training or 2 years minimum experience**
